30 May We are recruiting – Social Care Support Workers

Sun Healthcare is recruiting dynamic individuals who would like to progress in the health and social care industry. We are looking for people who are motivated and passionate about enabling positive change to the lives of people we support.

Full and part-time roles available.  Hours of support cover the 24 hour needs of individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Supporting people to access the community
• Assisting with finances
• Encouraging a healthy diet, including shopping, budgeting and cooking
• Promoting positive self-image and wellbeing
• Maintaining a good, clean and safe environment.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who possess passion and enthusiasm to succeed in a challenging role which provides unique job satisfaction. Qualifications and experience are not required, as induction training to the company and role will be provided. You should be able to travel across the Wakefield and Barnsley areas.

Having a qualification or experience within Health and Social care would be advantageous, though not required.

REWARDS:

We offer a full induction training programme and support to complete your Care Certificate award. Progression to achieve a Diploma in Health and Social Care at levels 2 and 3 is encouraged. We offer a competitive pay rate in this field, with £8.12 p/h and additional rates for overtime.

LOCATION:

We currently support people in their own tenancies across a large area covering Barnsley and Wakefield.
