09 Dec Not all disabilities are visible

As an organisation we have pledged our commitment to supporting employees with invisible conditions. We’ve joined Are You IN?, part of the Not Every Disability is Visible campaign, to make sure everyone with an invisible disability or condition has the support they need to thrive in the workplace.

An estimated 1 in 7 people in the UK live with an invisible health condition and we know that this figure includes some of our 400 staff.

Crohn’s & Colitis UK is running the campaign and we have joined as a Silver Standard company, making 9 pledges to support people in our workforce living with invisible disabilities. We already meet many of these pledges, but we’ll be working through them in more detail over the next 6 months to see what we can do to make our workplaces even more inclusive.
